Sidney Szaja Barmak – LEO

This is his first job as an actor. He won the best actor prize at the premiere in the “Curta 8” – 5th International Festival of Super 8 in Curitiba.
Gessy Fonseca – OMA

Born in 1924 in Sao Paulo, she began her career in 1941, doing Radio Novels at the Radio Record and then Radio Bandeirantes In 1955, she won the “Roquette Pinto”, the main prize of the Brazilian television at the time. She also worked at the National Radio and TV Record and participated in “We were Six” (1962).
Since 1961, she does mainly dubbing for TV. She participated in “Caiçara” the first dubbed brazilian film, directed by the Italian Director Adolfo Celi. She dubbed “Catwoman” in the Batman series, “Aunt May” in Spider-Man and participated in soap operas on TV Globo (“Fire on Earth”), SBT (“My Kids, My Life”) and Bandeirantes (“Spoken Portrait of a Lady Quimeras”). A plaque in honor of her 60 years career is on display at the Theatro São Pedro in São Paulo.
Lucélia Machiavelli – BABE

Born in 1943 in the town of Conceição da Aparecida, Minas Gerais. She graduated from the School of Dramatic Art (EAD) of the USP.
She was named for the “Best actress” award at the Coca-Cola Youth Theater for the play “The Shadow Theater of Ophelia”, considered by critics one of the best shows of 1997. Directed by Antunes Filho, she joined the cast of “Macunaima” that took part of the Latin American Festival in New York. She also participated in “Swing” (1999), “Ai Casserole” (2006), “Innocence” (2007), “Guitar, Viola and Other Strings” (2008) and “Verses in Storage” (2008).
She worked in “Marvada Carne” (1985), the film that won the Festival of Gramado, and “Sweet Delirium” (1983), “Clean-shaven” (2000) and “De Passagem” (2003). On television, she participated in the serials “My Foot Orange Lima” (1980), “O Rei do Gado” (1996) and “Marisol” (2002). She directed several shows and workshops, is an artistic advisor of the “Ademar War Project” and is alsoa professor of theater at the “Center for Recovery for Alcoholics and Home of Our Lady of Fatima”, where women with mental health problems are treated.
In 2009, she joined the cast of “Best not to bother her” and the film ”Tomorrow Never Again”.
Oswaldo Avila – GRANDFATHER

Born in 1931 in Rio Grande, Rio Grande do Sul in 1960, he worked as an announcer on Radio Farroupilha of Porto Alegre. In 1962, he made his debut on stage with the play “The Order of Rio Mário de Almeida”. Two years later, he worked on TV Piratini. He moved to Sao Paulo in 1970.
He plays in films like “Lucíola”, “The Angel Sinner” (1975) and “The mess of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza” (1977). In the 80s, he participated in the novels “Goddess Matured” and “Champion”. Lately, he mostly does commercials and short films.
EXTRAS
In addition to the students of the Renaissance School, the director Michael Wahrmann appears in the movie as Leo’s father, and Odila Neumark, mother of one of the extras, is Leo’s mother.
